Firstly, I want to be friends with her eyebrows. Secondly, it’s almost like I want to know more about this woman in this fashion story.
Although Manifest Destiny was published in American Vogue over two years ago, I happened to stumble across it again this week. It just proves how effective classic and elegant fashion is. A simple red dress with minimal accessories, a crisp white shirt and a magnificent long black dress. The burning afternoon light and parts of the scenery remind me of the Karoo (a semi-desert here in South Africa). I used to love going on road trips to visit my Grandparents in the Klein Karoo.

Please can I befriend her eyebrows too? I wish mine would look so great big and bushy but everytime I try to grow them (in the desperation bid to get that 60s big brow/big hair/big lips look), it all goes wrong. I end up looking like Tarzan’s Chinese cousin. How this happens, I do not know.
