Harbour lights

I can’t believe I haven’t posted in 15 days. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want my blog to be, and I know that I want to blog as if no one is reading. If we worry too much about what others think, then we won’t have anything to blog about! That said, I’ve made some changes to what this blog is going to look like, and what I’ll be posting. A clean slate, just like I did for VL Magazine.

I’ve been staying in St James for the past couple of days. Luke and I are house sitting with a friend. It’s so amazing here. I have a full view of the ocean and I’ve been watching the Southern Right Whales in the bay. It’s really beautiful in the day, but I seem to enjoy the view from my window more at night. I love the harbour lights and seeing the lighthouse in Simons Town flash every few seconds. It’s like a mini holiday.

So curious to see the direction your blog goes in. I usually change direction when biz slows down some. I do write and I think I agree with you–You gotta write as if your are your own best audience . . .

I like your new approach on blogging, Nicole. You know the saying: work as if you don’t need the money and blog as if nobody is reading. I can’t wait to see the direction your blog takes.
