2010 J&B MET…
It’s the time of the year that every South African celeb, fashionista or horse lover looks forward to. The J&B Met is The place to be. It’s that time where designers are paid ridiculous amounts of money to pull Chic pieces together for SA’s finest. This is what people, like me – an average citizen, go to see. Besides the thousands of people and breathtaking fashion, we have to acknowledge the horses and jockey’s that train the whole year and put great effort into this very event…well done.
What I loved most about this whole extravaganza was seeing South Africans being…well…South Africans. A ray of cultures at the same place and time.
This year I decided to stay out of the spotlight and not dress according to the “In Full Colour” theme, simply because I wanted to observe before I make my mark next year
This was my outfit
The wind that day was terrible – my hat kept on blowing off, lol!
Really loved this group
It was so difficult to take pics of the outfits because there were just way too many people.
Loved this – very clean and simple.
Some decided to go more casual – but still very stylish.
Hats, hats and more hats. It’s all about the hats!
In Full Colour – Yes.

This is what I wore last year to the Glitz&Glam theme. Was true fun.
‘Til next year…
